Not your average Joe
I'm not really sure how to start this post. It's time for the Iron Cupcake Earth challenge again and this month the ingredient to use was coffee. I was very excited at first and unfortunately have had the busiest month ever so I didn't really have time to make anything until last minute.
I love butter cream and I wanted to make some sort of coffee butter cream which I find delicious so I decided that for this challenge I would make chocolate cupcakes filled with coffee infused Dulce de Leche mousse and coffee butter cream! Wow, that's a mouth full isn't it? And since it's February, I decided to decorate them all Valentinesy (yes I decided that was a word!)
The pictures may not be that great but I have to tell you the cupcakes are, you can really taste the coffee and the Dulce de Leche in the filling. And that smooth butter cream, mocha heaven!
Remember to vote for me so that I can win a fabulous prize pack featuring:
* DIANAEVANS
* as well as a pair of cupcake earrings from LOTS OF SPRINKLES
* PLUS, the fabulous CAKESPY , who is now going to be doing a piece for the winner each month until further notice - sweet!
As an added bonus for February, SWEET CUPPIN CAKES BAKERY AND CUPCAKERY SUPPLY will be tossing in a variety of cupcaking supplies, .
And of course don’t forget the corporate prize providers:
HEAD CHEFS by FIESTA PRODUCTS
HELLO CUPCAKE by Karen Tack and Alan Richardson
JESSIE STEELE APRONS
TASTE OF HOME books
UPWITHCUPCAKES.COM.
Iron Cupcake:Earth is sponsored in part by 1-800-Flowers.
I'm truly sorry to say that for this challenge I didn't have a chance to photograph all the steps, I'm barely having a chance posting this and sending in the recipe. Please forgive me. I still hope you vote for me at No One Puts Cupcake in a Corner!!
Voting starts on March 1st!
Thank you! I promise I won't be as busy next month (I hope)

Valentine's Day Cookies and Cupcakes
I know I should've posted these 2 days ago but honestly I've had no time at all. I also know that these aren't the best pictures, please bear with me until I have some cash to get a good camera.
This Valentine's Day I embarked in making decorated cookies. Let me tell you, no rest at all! I made, I don't know how many cookies, maybe 300 and decorated all of them!
Fortunately, after 3 days of sleep depravation, endless amounts of dough and icing they came out great and the people loved them!
I also made delicious chocolate cupcakes with buttercream frosting. The picture isn't that great, but they were soooo cute! I'll have to post recipes tomorrow though... enjoy.

Amazing...
I haven't been able to post anything for a while because I've been incredibly busy.
Seeing as Valentine's day is just around the corner and of course we bakers are expected to whip something up I have something amazing to show you. This is not mine, I'll probably be posting maybe some pictures of the cookies that I'm making for Valentine's. They're actually pretty cute, nothing like what you're about to see though.
The following picture comes to us from the fabulous Bakerella she has one of my favorite blogs and is incredibly creative and fun. Just look at this:
Pretty cool huh! Wait till you check out the whole story... go here to see how you can make these, yep that's right, you can make them!
